Every year about 200-300 students are given scholarships. Pictures and names of those students are attached in our annual report every year. Additionally, all donors receive a full financial disclosure stating our income, interest income and money that was disembursed to the needy in India. We are a transparent organization with no members receiving any type of salary or benefits. 100% of all donations goes to help the needy in some form or another. In 2012, the Relief Committee gave its first scholarship in the United States to a financially depressed student with a superior grade point average (A) in the amount of $2500. We anticipate to grow the number of scholarships given in the coming years, depending on donations.
